This Privacy Policy applies to the Supertime iPhone app, our related website, support and other services that link to this policy (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Opentime Ventures LLC. In this policy, “Supertime,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Opentime Ventures LLC.
Supertime does not use third-party advertising networks in the app.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The information we collect depends on how you use Supertime and the permissions you choose to grant.
| Category | Examples | How it is collected |
|---|---|---|
| Account & profile | Email address or phone number, display name, profile image and timezone. | You provide it when you sign in, create an account or update your profile. |
| Gameplay | Games played, answers and actions, scores, completion status, streak-related activity, lineups, rankings and results. | Created when you play and use game features. |
| Social content | Friend connections, groups, invite codes, group or profile images, chat messages, reactions and related activity. | You and other players provide it when using social features. |
| Contacts | Cryptographic hashes derived from phone numbers in your contacts. | Only with your permission. Numbers are normalized and hashed on your device; Supertime sends the hashes to look for friends rather than uploading your readable contact list. |
| Photos | Images you select for your profile, a group or a chat. | Only when you choose an image through the iPhone photo picker. |
| Device & notifications | Device identifier, push-notification token, notification preferences, app version, build version and operating-system information. | Collected from the app and device when needed to operate the Service. |
| Usage & diagnostics | Feature interactions, app performance, crash information, technical logs and a limited sample of session replays with text input and images masked. | Collected automatically through our analytics and diagnostics tools. Crash reporting is configured not to send default personally identifying fields. |
| Feedback & support | Your message, attachments, contact details and related support correspondence. | You provide it when you send feedback, ask for help or make a report. |
We use information for the following purposes:
We share information only as needed to operate, secure and improve Supertime, or when required by law.
Your display name, profile image, gameplay results and social activity may be visible to friends, group members or other players according to the feature you use. Messages and reactions are visible to participants in the relevant conversation or group.
Companies that process information for us include providers of app distribution and push notifications, sign-in verification, realtime messaging, analytics, crash diagnostics, cloud hosting and file storage. These currently include Apple, Twilio, Ably, PostHog and Sentry. They process information to provide services to us and are required to protect it consistently with their obligations and applicable law.
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, investigate misuse, protect a person’s safety, defend rights or prevent fraud. Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.
You can decline contact access, or turn contact discovery off in Supertime settings. You can also remove Contacts permission in iPhone Settings.
You choose the images you share. Review or remove photo access in iPhone Settings.
Choose notification categories inside Supertime, or change system permission in iPhone Settings.
Update available profile information in Supertime settings, or contact us if something cannot be corrected there.
Ask to access, correct, export or delete account information using the steps in Make a request.
Supertime support will not ask you to send a one-time verification code by email.
Deleting Supertime from your iPhone does not delete your account or the information associated with it. Email us to request account deletion.
After we verify the request, we will close the account and delete or de-identify personal information, subject to the limits described in Retention & deletion below.
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, resolve disputes, protect players, enforce agreements and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information, the reason it was collected and applicable requirements.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, security records or records we must keep by law. Content you shared with other people may remain visible in a de-identified or limited form when needed to preserve the integrity of a conversation, group or game record.
Deleting the Supertime app from your iPhone does not delete your account. To request account and data deletion, follow the steps in Make a request.
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify that you control the account. The verification method may vary depending on the nature of the request.
We will respond according to applicable law. In some cases, we may be unable to provide or delete specific information—for example, information we must retain by law, information that would reveal another person’s data, or records needed for safety and security. If an exception applies, we will explain it where the law allows.
We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No service can guarantee absolute security, so please keep sign-in codes private and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Supertime is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Supertime and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate measures intended to protect information transferred across borders.
We may update this policy as Supertime changes. We will post the revised policy here, update the effective date and provide any additional notice required by law.
No. Removing the app from an iPhone does not send us an account-deletion request. See Account deletion.
Where applicable law allows an authorized agent, we may ask for proof of authorization and may still need to verify your identity directly.
Information we collect describes the categories of information collected, and How we share it covers the service providers that help process them.
